Meeting 6.2.2008 at Neyland Athletic Club

Representatives of Acanthus Holden, the creative design team which has been engaged to produce a Concept Study and for giving suggestions for improvements to the appearance and amenity value of areas of Neyland along Kensington Road, High Street and thence to the Brunel Quay area gave a Power Point presentation.
Meeting moved to consider adoption of a Constitution for the Community Forum, a model distributed by PLANED. Any amendments to be brought back to the next meeting on the 2nd April 2008.
Representatives of various groups, Brunel Association, Environment Group, Neyland Youth Project, NAC, NYC, the Terraces Improvement Group, and Neyland Commnity School gave progress details since previous meeting.
Local knowledge ideas already available include the Neyland Web-Site, Pembrokeshire College students High Street appraisal (300 residents of Neyland interviewed or 70 page report), Neyland Experience booklet of 32 pages (prepared by previous Town Clerk) which could be utilised by Acanthus Holden.
