Rotary Club

The Rotary Club of Milford Haven has been helping the community in a variety of ways since it was established in 1957. Local charities, youth organisations and schools as well as individuals have received assistance in achieving many worthwhile objectives.

The Milford Club in the past has organized highly successful social events to raise funds the latest of which was a Race Night generating £1500 which was divided between the Ty Hafin Project and other charities. Another project in which the club participated involved collecting a large variety of non perishable foodstuffs, tools, electric cable, writing materials and toys and transporting a total of five tons of goods to Albania in a hired lorry driven by three members of the club. The journey involved driving in turn, virtually non stop to the Heel of Italy in convoy with other Aid vehicles.

The Club organises an annual Golf Day held at Milford Golf Club with teams invited from local businesses to take part for a fee, which of course goes to the Charity Fund.

The membership of the Milford Club is drawn from Milford and Neyland area and comprises a cross section of active and retired businessmen who meet once a week in the Water Garden Restaurant at 1.00pm and 7.00pm on alternate Tuesdays.

Visiting Rotarians will be most welcome and if further information is required please contact in the first instance Bill Gibson at 01646 601840
