History

Nestling in the Cleddau Waterway, Milford Haven has been privy to visitations by many travellers, on land or more usually by sea.not forgetting its very important location in protecting the shores of the U.K.

A little of the History of the Waterway has been logged below, but visitors and locals alike are very welcome to visit the excellent Milford Haven Museum located at the Marina, managed very ably by Ray Harding, the museum's administrator, and his very willing band of volunteers. ( Tel No 01646 694496)

The Museum, recently refurbished at a cost of £250,000 is a wonderful spot to begin or end a visit to the waterfront and Marina area, with a number of excellent restaurants in the locality which cater for most culinary tastes.
