Fairbairn Foundation Supports social development, environment, education, arts & heritage
|
Esmée Fairbairn Foundation is one of the largest independent grantmaking foundations in the UK.
The Foundation makes grants to organisations which aim to improve the quality of life for people and communities in the UK, both now and in the future.
We like to consider work which others may find hard to fund, perhaps because it breaks new ground, appears too risky, requires core funding, or needs a more unusual form of financial help such as a loan.
We also take initiatives ourselves where new thinking is required or where we believe there are important unexplored opportunities.

FARMING GRANTS Information obtained from Defra
|
Defra's objectives were reviewed at the end of July 2002 to bring them closer to the specific targets set out in our Public Service Agreement (PSA).
Like all Government Departments, our Public Service Agreement reflects what we are expected to achieve with the money we were allocated in the July 2002 Spending Review. You can view other Departments' Public Service Agreements on HM Treasury's website.
The Department's aim has not changed but its objectives are now shorter. However, their scope, and therefore the Department's work, has not changed. Although the objectives can still stand alone, they should be read with the PSA targets that underpin them.

FARMING AUCTIONEERS
|
We realise that farmers are busy people who don't want to waste their precious time hunting down the information they need. The Farming UK web site is therefore designed to be fast loading and hopefully easy to navigate and use.
Farming UK is purely a directory of links. We cannot and do not have the means to answer any farming related questions.
